Our Founder and CEO

Alondria McCoy, a proud North Carolina native, is a multifaceted talent with a passion for both the stage and screen. Alondria has dedicated herself to a life of creativity, advocacy, and ministry. As a loving wife and devoted mother, Alondria wears many hats. Her unwavering commitment to domestic violence and mental health prevention exemplifies her dedication to making a positive impact in her community.

From an early age, Alondria's heart belonged to the world of theater. Her inspiration ignited when she witnessed Cicely Tyson's powerful performance in "The Corn is Green" on Broadway at just nine years old. This pivotal moment fueled her determination not only to perform but to create on stage.

In 1991, Alondria's dreams took flight when she landed her first acting role in Curtis Dean's "We Need You, DADDY." From there, her career flourished, with memorable roles in productions like "Willy Wonka," “Black Nativity,” and "Church Folks." National touring productions, including "When a Woman's Fed Up" and "A Good Man is Hard to Find," beckoned, and Alondria embraced the opportunity.

Even a brief hiatus to care for her child couldn't deter her passion. Inspired by her grandmother Louise Shepherd's sermon, "Get Right or Get Left," Alondria embarked on a journey of creation. She wrote, cast, and produced several successful stage plays, including the acclaimed "First Lady The Stage Play," "If Only You Knew," "The Birth, The Work, The Resurrection," "The Ultimate Gift," and the highly anticipated 2024 release of “Mrs. Clean Up Women."

In 2021, Alondria made her mark in the world of cinema with a role in Bryant Griffin's "Young Kings," where she also served as the North Carolina Casting Director. She works closely with talent agencies that request her services locally and abroad. Her extensive experience and training, spanning over 27 years, led her to establish ALON Entertainment and her community-based non-profit organization, Alon’s Helping Hands.

ALON Entertainment is not just a production company but also a bridge connecting local talent to the mainstream. Beyond touring with their own captivating shows, ALON Entertainment offers acting coaching, preparation, and training classes to empower aspiring talents, enhancing their chances in auditions for various opportunities. Alondria's company also serves as an agent and casting agency for actors and companies worldwide, with consultation services tailored to specific business needs. Alon’s Helping Hands allows Alondria to take this knowledge into the community and offer acting classes as a form of education and an alternative way of coping with life. Participants are offered a series of sessions and will share their acquired talents and education with family and friends upon completion. This process allows Alon’s Helping Hands to build trust and be a bridge to those in need of clinical resources.

Alondria McCoy is a 2023 ACE Award nominee, and her journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to her craft, her community, and her vision. With each performance and endeavor, she continues to inspire, educate, and uplift those who are gifted and dream-inspired.
